Nilofar Khanbhai is a Venture Creation Lead at DPI, where she is instrumental in evaluating innovations within the University of Illinois system for their technological potential, market disruption capabilities, and competitive landscape. She spearheads the company creation process, collaborating with business, technical, and industry experts to build sustainable startups. Before joining DPI, Nilofar had a background as an academic scientist and more recently engaged in business development and venture capital within the startup ecosystem. She holds a B.S. in Biotechnology from Ferris State University and an M.S. in Biotechnology from Northwestern University.
