Anuj Tiwari is a research associate in the Discovery Partners Institute at University of Illinois Systems, Chicago, and a Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow in the Center for Water Research at the Northwestern University, Evanston, USA. He holds a PhD in Geospatial Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He received his MTech. degree in Spatial Information Technology (SIT) and the BTech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering. His research interests include Geographic Information System (GIS), Urban Remote Sensing, Data Sciences (Machine and Deep Learning), Public health and Epidemiology. In the middle of pandemic, his research applies a combination of geospatial and computational approaches to quantitatively understand decision-making in wastewater sampling and data interpretation with a focus on questions in Wastewater Epidemiology, Pandemic Vulnerability Modeling, and Health-GIS.
