About this event

DPI is launching a major new initiative that will help Illinois corporations become more resilient to climate change.

We’ll be supplying our partners with world-class data, analyses, and expertise shared by DPI Distinguished Research Scientist and UIUC Professor Don Wuebbles, whose work for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change led to it receiving the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. We’ll also help our partners interpret new federal and international sustainability requirements and incentives including those in the landmark Inflation Reduction Act.

Join Chicago Tribune environment reporter Michael Hawthorne from noon-1 p.m. on Nov. 15 over Zoom as he interviews Professor Wuebbles about what it will take for Illinois to mitigate, adapt, and be resilient to climate change.
