Abstract:

In his presentation, Dr. Bhushan will share some of his applied research projects that he developed through the journey of his research in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Studies will be related to the diagnosis and treatment of OSA, challenges during diagnosis and treatment of OSA and some novel findings in the areas of health related quality of life. Through his presentation, Dr. Bhushan is looking forward to share the current status of some research projects and invigorate the discussion on areas of research needing further attention. 

 

Biosketch:

Dr. Bhushan is a Sr. Scientist and Assistant professor at the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Ann & Robert Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. His primary research areas of interest include Sleep Disorders and the Science of healthcare delivery. Dr. Bhushan has published over 40 research publications, delivered presentations in several countries, and several of his projects are implemented in clinics for patient care.
