The next step in the CURES CPL Community Engagement Process is to analyze the data collected in Step 1. This information is needed to identify project offerings that will suit the overlapping expressed needs of communities.
The 2022 CURES CPL Community Outreach Survey is currently underway and preliminary results are available. Based on 121 responses by municipal managers in IL communities (out of 288 surveyed so far – response rate 42%) top priorities, similar to our 2021 survey findings, include water (stormwater management, water quality, wastewater treatment) and energy (renewable energy).
