Culture and Society

At its heart, DPI aims to create societally beneficial solutions to grand challenge problems. This means increasing wealth and quality of life for all groups of people.

To achieve that, the Culture and Society working group recognizes these principles as crucial to the development of DPI and its programs:

  • Inclusivity in all its forms
  • Community and public engagement
  • Transparency and accountability
  • Ethics in innovation

The working group will help develop DPI's community engagement strategy while helping other DPI working groups consider the social context of their projects.
