At this session, the Illinois Workforce and Education Research Collaborative (IWERC) will present findings from forthcoming reports on the experiences of students in Illinois college Computer Science and Tech programs.

At this session, the Illinois Workforce and Education Research Collaborative (IWERC) will present findings from forthcoming reports on the experiences of students in Illinois college Computer Science and Tech programs. IWERC will also share an equity analysis of 4-year and 2-year programs in the state focusing on Black, Latinx, and female students, as well as a survey of ~1000 students on their experiences to understand how historically marginalized students are being served (or unfortunately not served) by those programs. Lunch will be provided.
