Annabelle brings 18 years of administrative experience in higher education to her role at DPI, where she serves as the institute’s chief financial officer and human resources liaison. Before joining the DPI team Annabelle was the assistant dean for administration at the College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts at the University of Illinois Chicago since 2010. In that role as the college’s chief operating and fiscal officer she was involved in a broad range of activities including restructuring the college, capital planning for a performing arts building, and establishing the UIC Innovation Center. She was the dean’s principal deputy on all administrative, financial, human resources, and strategic planning activities.

Prior to that role, Annabelle was the College of Architecture and the Arts’ assistant to the dean for human resources and faculty affairs, where she implemented and managed policies and procedures related to human resources and faculty affairs. She led the centralization of human resources operations, coordinated job searches, and facilitated strategic planning activities.

Annabelle earned her bachelor’s degree from the School of Art Institute of Chicago and her master of public administration degree from UIC.
